ORDER

The petitioner with the grievance that the respondents have cut and removed the Julie Flora tree from the petitioner's patta land in Survey No.152/2B and 155, Majara Maniyampatti Rasingapuram Vilalge, Bodinayakanur, Theni District, has filed this writ petition.

2.The petitioner seeks compensation of Rs.3 lakhs from the respondents for removal of Julie Flora tree from his patta land without giving any prior information to the petitioner.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submits that the Julie Flora trees in Tamil Nadu were removed in a time bound manner as directed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD)No.16485 of 2015. He further submits that the petitioner as well as other persons, who have cultivated Julie flora trees in their lands were all intimated to remove the Julie Flora trees within the dead line fixed by this Court. Since the same were not removed, the respondents have themselves removed the trees.
