This civil revision petition is filed for a direction to direct the SubCourt, Devakottai, Sivagangai District, to dispose the petition in H.M.O.P.No.145 of 2022 within the time frame as fixed by this Court. 1/4

2.According to the petitioner/husband, the marriage between the petitioner and the respondent was solemnized on 12.05.2014 and after the marriage, both of them started their matrimonial life happily in the petitioner's house. Out of their wedlock, they were blessed with two male children. Due to some misunderstanding arose between them, the petitioner filed a petition in H.M.O.P.No.145 of 2022 before the Sub-Court, Devakottai, Sivagangai District, for divorce. The case is pending without any progress for the past one year. Hence, the present civil revision petition is filed.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/husband submitted that the HMOP petition was filed in the year 2022 and even after completion of one year, there is no progress in the matter. Hence, he seeks for speedy disposal of the suit.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the learned Subordinate Judge, Devakottai, Sivagangai District, to dispose the case in H.M.O.P.No.145 of 2022, on merits and in accordance 2/4

with law, as expeditiously as possible, without any unnecessary adjournment, after affording sufficient opportunities to the parties concerned to put-forth their contentions, within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
