ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the 2nd respondent to promote the petitioner to the post of Night watchman based on the petitioner's representation, dated 04.07.2023.

2. The petitioner was appointed in the 3rd respondent office as Sweeper on 17.01.1994. He has rendered more than 29 years of service. He is entitled for promotion. Hence, he made a representation on 04.07.2023 to the respondents to consider his case for promotion.

3. Heard Mr.P.Sujai Krishna, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.D.S.Nedunchezhiyan, learned Government Advocate for R1 and R2 and MR.M.Senthil Ayyanar, learned counsel for R3 and R4. 2/4

4. Without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to promote the petitioner to the post of Night Watchman based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 04.07.2023.
