ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to release the original document (sale deed) executed in favour of petitioner and registered in document no. 17/2022 dated 04.07.2022 and to release the original document (sale deed) executed in favour of petitioner and registered in document no. 18/2022 dated 04.07.2022 on the file of the 2nd respondent within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a direction may be given to the respondents to release the document, which is said to be registered kept as pending document Nos.17 and 18/2022.

3. The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, would submit that the document has not been registered as contended by the petitioner, however, a refusal order has been passed stating that the 2/4

document has to be re-submitted with necessary revenue records.

4. I have considered the rival submissions and perused the materials available on record.

5. In such view of the matter, the writ petition is closed. However, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the said order of refusal. No costs. 18.09.2024 RR TO
