ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition filed, under Section 528 of BNSS, seeking orders, to direct the respondent Police to expedite the investigation 1/4

in the case in Crime No.77 of 2017 on the file off the respondent Police and to file final report within time stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the State would submit that investigation has already been completed as further 'action dropped' and RCS notice is yet to be served on the defacto complainant.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. The second respondent is directed to serve RCS notice on the petitioner and then to file negative final report before the concerned Magistrate Court immediately.
