COMMON PRAYER:- Writ Petitions - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent to include the petitioners' name in above their juniors Direct Deputy Commercial Tax Officers from Serial number 75 in the temporary list of Commercial Tax Officers for the year 2015 and issue promotion orders to the petitioners as Commercial Tax officers as per rule 35(aa) of Tamil Nadu General Subordinate Service Rules by considering their representations dated 26.12.2017 and 27.12.2017.

For Petitioners : No appearance (in both WPs) For Respondents : Mr.K.S.Selvaganesan (in both WPs) Additional Government Pleader COMMON ORDER These matters were listed yesterday (03.01.2022), when the petitioners were called absent. The cases were hence directed to be listed today under the caption 'for dismissal'. Even today (04.01.2022), there is no representation by or on behalf of the petitioners.
