ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to issue patta for his land situated in Survey No.140/5A in Thulukkampatty Village, Vathirairruppu Taluk, Virudhunagar District, by considering his representation dated 30.06.2025.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.S.Sivakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, the subject property with an extent of 67 cents in Survey No.140/5A was sold to the petitioner by his father 2/6

under registered sale deed dated 22.01.2025. At the time of registration of the sale deed, the petitioner submitted necessary application for patta transfer also. Till date, patta transfer has not been effected. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 30.06.2025 seeking issuance of patta in his name in respect of the property covered by the sale deed. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law by the third respondent.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
