ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the the 1st respondent to take action against the 2nd respondent based on the petitioner's representation dated 05.07.2022.

2.Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader takes notice for the 1st respondent.

3.By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4.The petitioner claims that the 2nd respondent Company is doing a business in the nature of manufacturing Fish Oils and Foods in S.No.764/1, 2 & 3 in Vadukku Karacheri Village and they are releasing drainage water in the agricultural lands during night hours, due to which, there is a threat of spreading disease to the people and cattle in the said village. Hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 05.07.2022, to the 1st respondent, in this regard, requesting him to take appropriate action against the 2nd respondent. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of filing this Writ Petition. 5.The learned Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered and an appropriate order will be passed within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 6.In view of the abovesaid submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the 1st respondent to

consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.07.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
