ORDER
Seeking to direct the 2nd respondent police to issue Non-Traceable 1/9
certificate for the lost of the sale deed dated 27.05.1992 registered on the file of the Joint Sub Registrar No.2, Palani, as Document No. 629 of 1992 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2026 , this writ petition is filed.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's sale deed dated 27.05.1992 bearing Document No.629 of 1992 was misplaced and lost, for which the petitioner had given a representation on 03.06.2026. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) submitted that the Director General of Police had already issued Circular Memorandum, dated 01.04.2022 in this regard with respect to issuance of NOC, where the applicants have to produce certain documents. On such production of the documents, the respondent police will take necessary steps.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.
5. The petitioner has given a complaint for issuance of NOC on 12.01.2026. The petitioner is further directed to produce all the necessary documents as required by the respondent police in terms of the Circular Memorandum, which is extracted below:

6. The petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the 2nd respondent. On receipt of the same and on production of the above said documents as required in the Circular Memorandum extracted supra, the 2nd respondent police is directed to take necessary steps for issuance of NonTraceable Certificate to the petitioner with respect to the sale deed bearing Document No.626 of 1992 dated 27.05.1992 on the file of the Joint Sub Registrar No.2, Palani.
