ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused Rank not known, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC, in Crime No.not known of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner has received a sum of Rs.15,00,000/- from the defacto complainant Chelladurai on a false promise of securing job in a Higher Secondary School. Having received the amount, the petitioner failed to arrange job.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that they had business transaction between them. He received a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- and returned the same. Now claiming exorbitant interest for the amount, this false complaint came to be registered.

4. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, both parties are directed to appear before the respondent police. There shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the process of enquiry within a period of 15 days for the appearance of parties. During the enquiry, if any trouble arises, the petitioner can work out his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

5. With this direction and liberty, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
