O R D E R

The petitioners herein are facing trial in C.C.No.3 of 2014 on the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madurai, Madurai District, for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 341, 323, 324, 380, 441, 442, 452 and 506(ii) of I.P.C. Challenging the same, this criminal original petition has been filed.

2. When the matter was taken up for disposal, I called upon the learned counsel on either side to explore the possibility of compromising the matter.

3. I am glad to record that the issue has been amicably resolved between the parties concerned. A joint compromise memo has also been filed in this regard and the same is taken on record. 4. Continuance of the impugned prosecution would only amount to an abuse of legal process. In view of the settlement of the issues, the impugned proceedings stand quashed. The Criminal Original petition stands allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
