ORDER
The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders, to issue direction to the second respondent to give police protection to the petitioner's life and limb, on the basis of the petitioner's complaint, dated 29.07.2024 and 06.08.2024.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that since the petitioner's cell phone was left by him in the Police Station and the same was handed over to the learned counsel for the 2/5
petitioner on 14.08.2024. He would further submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the seventh respondent, enquiry was conducted and the same was ordered to be closed. He would further submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry is pending in current paper. He would further submit that the third respondent has directed the petitioner to appear for enquiry, but he has not turned up.
3. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is ready to appear before the third respondent on receipt of summons.
"(a) The third respondent will issue written summons to the petitioner and to the private respondents for causing their appearance before him for enquiry. There is no question of orally summoning the parties to the police station.
(b) The third respondent will conclude the enquiry within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
