O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C seeking for a direction to the second respondent Police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry in respect of the money dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent herein.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the current paper received from respondent No.3 dated 10.07.2023 is being enquired into and will be disposed of shortly.

4. Considering the same made by learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) and on hearing of both sides, the respondent Police are directed to dispose of the representation dated 10.07.2023 given by the third respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. It is needless to say that, in case, if the dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent is purely civil in nature as submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner, the respondent Police have no role to play 2/4

and thereby, the respondent Police is directed to dispose of the representation of the third respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by following due process of law.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
