ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking transfer of investigation in Crime No.33 of 2010 from the file of the fifth respondent to the file of the fourth respondent. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that, the petitioner's daughter, namely Sudha, found missing and hence, he has given a complaint before the fifth respondent. Based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the fifth respondent registered a case in Crime No.33 of 2019. However, no investigation has been conducted on the complaint so far. The fifth respondent did not take any steps to produce the missing girl. In the above circumstances, the petitioner filed the present petition seeking the aforesaid relief. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.This Court ordered notice to the respondents, and the Inspector of Police is present before this Court and submitted that during the investigation, recently, it was found that the petitioner's daughter was murdered in Namakkal District and a criminal proceeding has been registered under Section 174 Cr.P.C. After knowing the same, the fifth respondent was altered the crime into Section 302 IPC and commenced the investigation. 4.Considering the fact that during the investigation, it is found that the petitioner's daughter found murder and FIR was also altered into Section 302 IPC, the fifth respondent is directed to proceed with the investigation and complete the same as expeditiously as possible. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
