The petitioner with a grievance that his application for survey of his land in S.No.121/1D1 Adhiyakudi Village, T. Nagani Group, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District has not been considered by the respondents has filed this writ petition for a Mandamus.

2.Mrs.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents submits that one Kalaiselvi W/o Pandi and Pandi S/o Michaelsam have raised certain objections, when the respondents attempted to survey the petitioner's land on 23.06.2023. Therefore, the survey could not be completed. 3.Considering the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of with a 2/4

direction to the Survey Officer to issue notice to the objectors under Section 10(1) of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923 and conduct an enquiry. In the event, if the Survey Officer found that the objections raised by the objectors are not reasonable, the Survey Officer shall proceed with the survey after obtaining necessary police protection. No costs.
