PRAYER:- Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to issue appointment order to the petitioner for the post of graduate assistant for the academic year 2012-2013 for the subject of tamil.

Read this order in conjunction with by order dated 09.11.2021 extracted below:- Heard Mr.M.Joseph Thatheus Jerome, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.K.S.Selvaganesan, learned Standing for the respondents &2 and Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned counsel appearing for the third respondent.

2.Proceedings dated 02.02.2021 of the third respondent in Na.Ka.No.2579/A3/2013 are placed before this Court to the effect that the appointment of the petitioner for the post as sought for has been accepted by the third respondent.
3.As a consequence there of, I am given to understand that the second respondent has also issued an order appointing the petitioner to the post as prayed for and the petitioner has also assumed duty. Let a copy of the appointment order be placed on file.
4. List the matter on 10.11.2021.

Today, a copy of the appointment order dated 09.02.2021 is placed on file and the learned counsel for the petitioner would also confirm the facts as set out in paragraph No.3 of order dated 09.11.2021 extracted above. In light of the aforesaid, he does not pursue the writ petition any further and this writ petition is thus closed. No costs.
