O RDER This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report registered against the Petitioners in Crime No. 21 of 2021 on the file of the 1st respondent.

2. The learned Counsel for the Petitioners submits that the FIR has been registered against the petitioners for the offences under Sections 498A, 323 IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. When the learned counsel for the petitioners was about to make submissions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the Investigation has been completed and the Final Report has been placed before the learned Judge, Additional Mahila Court, Nagercoil and it is yet to be taken cognizance by the learned Judge.

3. Considering the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 05.09.2022 Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No TM 2/4
