This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to give adequate police protection for life and limb of the petitioner and her husband, namely, Pandidurai, S/o.Sithambaram. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's father gave a complaint and on that basis, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.259 of 2022 as "Woman Missing" and that after investigation, they have filed a final report as 'further action dropped' and they have also produced the copy of the final report.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the marriage between the petitioner and one Pandidurai was solemnized on 21.08.2022 and that she has given a representation on 24.08.2022. 2/4

4.In view of the above, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 24.08.2022 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
