Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner was arrested in connection with Crime No.72 of 2022 registered on the file of Gudalur North police station, Theni ,for various I.P.C. offences. He was arrested and also in custody for more than 48 hours. Therefore as per the service regulations, the impugned suspension order cannot said to be illegal by any stretch of imagination. The petitioner submitted a representation seeking revocation of the order of suspension. If such representation is filed, the same will be considered by the respondent and disposed of as per law. This writ petition stands disposed of on these terms. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
