[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] This review petition has been instituted seeking to review the judgment dated 23.02.2024, passed in C.M.A.(MD) No.417 of 2020.

2. By the said judgment, this Court has elaborately considered the facets of the quantum of consideration to be granted to the victim. Further adjudication of those merits cannot be undertaken in a review proceedings. The scope of Order XLVII of the Code of Civil Procedure cannot be expanded for the purpose of reconsidering the facts or merits, which were already considered by the Court. That being the position, we are of the view that the review petitioner has not made out any error apparent on the face of the records warranting interference of this Court to exercise the power of review.
