ORDER

This Criminal Revision Petition has been filed as against the order passed by the trial Court, namely, the Principal District Sessions Judge, Theni in Crl.A.No.6 of 2013, dated 08.10.2013. 2.This petitioner is the daughter-in-law of the first and second respondents and she lodged a complaint before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Bodinayakkanur for the offence under Sections 18, 19 and 20 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, in Cr.M.P.No.363 of 2009. 3.The trial Court by order dated 28.08.2012 allowed the application under Section 20 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, and directing the respondents to pay a sum of Rs.97,500/- to the petitioner. The petition with regard to her claim under Section 18 and 19 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act was rejected by the trial Court. As against the order of the trial Court, she has preferred an appeal before the Principal District Sessions Court, Theni in Crl.A.No.6 of 2013 and the appellate Court dismissed the appeal and confirmed the order of the trial Court.

4. Aggrieved over the same, the complainant has preferred this revision petition.

CRL.RC(MD)No.153 of 2014 5.Though the amount as ordered by the trial Court, was confirmed by the appellate Court have not been complied with by the respondents, when this revision petition was taken up for hearing, the respondents have come forward with a proposal seeking four weeks time to pay a sum of Rs.97,500/- as ordered by the Courts below to the petitioner/complainant. They have also filed an affidavit to that effect.

6.In pursuant to that affidavit filed by the respondents, it is reported by the counsel for the petitioner as well as the respondents that a sum of Rs.97,500/- as directed by the trial Court as well as the appellate Court was paid by the respondents to the petitioner vide cheque No.820946, Canara Bank, Bathalagundu, on 14.11.2019 and a memo was also filed to that effect.

7. Recording the said memo, this Criminal Revision Petition is closed.
