PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to call for the records pertaining to the FIR in Cr.No.1 of 2022, dated 03.02.2021 on the file of the Inspector of Police, EOW, Madurai and to quash the same.

O R D E R

The learned Counsel for the Petitioners seeks to quash the FIR in Cr.No.1 of 2021 on the file of the first Respondent Police on the ground that after registration of the FIR, the Petitioners herein, who are arrayed as accused, and the De-facto Complainant had arrived at a compromise. A Joint Compromise Memo is also filed along with this Petition.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that Rs.30,96,000/- had been settled to all the depositors and he has no objection to quash the FIR by recording compromise. 3.In the light of the Joint Compromise Memo, this Petition is allowed and the FIR in Cr.No.1 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police is quashed. The Joint Compromise Memo shall form part of this order.
