Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of proceedings in notification issued by the second respondent for Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (TNSET 2018) for Assistant Professor as per UGC letter (f4-2/90 NET) 13th June 2017 and quash the same subsequently directing the second respondent to include the public administration subject as one of the subject in State Eligibility Test (TNSET 2018) for Assistant Professor pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 22.12.20170.

When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the matter has become infructuous, since the entire issue relates to the eligibility test conducted in the year 2018 and the direction was sought to include Public Administration subject in State Eligibility Test (TNSET 2018) in the year 2018.

2. In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
