O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking police protection to the petitioner basing on the representation dated 16.06.2023 given by him for fencing his property.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that though there are disputes between the petitioner and the third respondent in respect of the property belonging to him, since the third respondent is not permitting the petitioner to fence his property, a representation is filed before the respondents 1 and 2 Police, but no action has been initiated and thereby, he sought for suitable directions.

3. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the official respondents, on the other hand, submits that the representation of the petitioner is registered as C.S.R.No.418 of 2023 and during the course of enquiry, the Police have issued summons to the petitioner to appear for enquiry on 01.08.2023. Though the petitioner has received the same, he has not appeared before the respondents Police. 2/4

In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to appear before the respondent Police and on such appearance, the respondents Police are directed to complete the investigation as quickly as possible not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
