O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to give permission for temple festival schedule to he held on 10.08.2024 and 11.08.2024 based on the petitioner's representation, dated 24.07.2024.

2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that the second respondent has received the representation of the writ petitioner and the same is pending for consideration. He would further submit that there are two groups in the village and that there is every possibility for law and order problem, if such festival is proceeded with.

4. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that they are ready to conduct the Anndanam and temple festival jointly with the counter group. 2/4

5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the second respondent is directed to summon the petitioner as well as the third respondent and take decision with regard to the conducting of festival and pass orders tommorow itself. (ie.,on 09.08.2024).

6. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
