ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 of BNSS., seeking orders to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner and his their family members under the guise of enquiry.

2. It is not in dispute that FIR in Crime No.1 of 2024 came to be registered against the first petitioner's husband Senthuran, for the offence under Sections 465, 468, 471, 420, 212, 109, 120B IPC and Sections 14(A), 14(B), 14(C) of Foreigners Act 1946.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the respondent Police, while seeking the whereabouts of the said Senthuran, has been harassing the petitioners continuously and since they have threatened the house owner of the petitioners, they were forced to vacate the house.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the said Senthuran has already filed two anticipatory bail petitions and the same were dismissed and only in order 2/4

to search the said Senthuran, they have visited the petitioners' home and there is no harassment.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the respondent is directed not to harass the petitioners. But at the same time, the first petitioner is duty bound to inform the whereabouts of the said Senthuran to the respondent, if she comes to know about the same.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
