ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to regularize the petitioner's service in the post of Medical Attender for the period from 09.07.2007 to 13.07.2026.
2.However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, during the pendency of the Writ Petition, the respondents have already regularized the petitioner's service, but the consequential monetary benefits have not been paid.

3.The learned counsel for the State, appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner was facing criminal proceedings and, therefore, the monetary benefits could not be disbursed.
4.It is seen that the petitioner has been acquitted in the criminal proceedings. It is further submitted that the State has preferred a Special Leave Petition before the Supreme Court of India. 5.Therefore, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to consider and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, regarding the petitioner's entitlement to the monetary benefits, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
