O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein, more particularly the third respondent herein to forthwith send a car bearing Registration No.TN-60-M-8206 involved in the accident in Devadanapatti Police Station, with all requisite vehicular documents therefore, for the inspection and to submit a report of the Motor Vehicle Inspector within a reasonable time as may be fixed by this Court. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents would submit that since there are variations in the engine number and chasis number, they are not in a position to produce the vehicle for inspection and that within a week, they will sort out the issues and produce the vehicle before the concerned Motor Vehicle Inspector for inspection. 2/4

3.In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to produce the vehicle before the concerned Motor Vehicle Inspector for inspection within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
