ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 4 to 5 to restrain the respondents 6 and 7 from conducting State Level Silambam Tournament on 11.08.2024 at St.Joseph Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Ram Nagar, Devakottai and also take appropriate action against the respondents 6 and 7 for taking steps to conduct State Level Silambam Tournament without following the guidelines issued by the respondents 1 and 2 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court by considering the writ petitioner's representation dated 05.08.2024.
2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 4 and 5. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 4 and 5 would submit that they have not received any representation from the respondents 6 and 7.

4. It is not known whether the third respondent, who is the competent authority, has granted permission to the respondents 6 and 7 to conduct the tournament or not.
5. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that the writ petitioner has sent a complaint to the police officials including the respondents 4 and 5 and CSR No.438 of 2024 came to be registered on 03.08.2024 by the fifth respondent and since they are not the competent authority, the complaint was ordered to be closed.
6. Recording the submissions made on either side, the Writ Petition is closed with a direction to the writ petitioner to approach the competent authority. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
