When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that in the year 2020, the Police have filed a final report, after completion of the investigation and the charge sheet was taken on file in C.C.No.847 of 2020. It is submitted that some of the accused persons have approached this Court and filed petitions seeking quashment of charge sheet and the said petitions are pending.

3. Once the investigation has already been completed in the year 2020 itself, this Criminal Original Petition which is filed for a direction to expedite the investigation has become infructuous.
