This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking quashment of FIR in Crime No.1120 of 2019 on the file of the first respondent police, which was registered for the offences punishable under Section 24 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that investigation has been completed and final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Madurai on 02.12.2020 and it has not been taken on file so far.

3.Since final report was filed, this petition has become infructuous. The petitioners are at liberty to work out their remedy through appropriate proceedings. There shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai to process the final report as per rule and after the process is over, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry of this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
