ORDER : The Court made the following order :- When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that compromise reached between the parties before the Mediation Centre. First Petitioner/husband and the defacto complainant/wife are living together. Therefore, this Court may issue direction to the respondent police to close the FIR.

2. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, both the parties are directed to appear before the respondent police and the respondent police shall record the statement of the parties. Depending upon the statement, the respondent police may close the FIR.
