This Criminal Original Petition is filed by the petitioner / defacto complainant under Section 482 of Cr.P.C seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to file a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai, in Crime No.66 of 2022 for the offences under sections 498(A) and 406 of I.P.C.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) after getting instructions from the respondent Police reported that the respondent Police have already examined six witnesses and the rest of the investigation will be completed as quickly as possible and filed the charge sheet.
4. Considering the submissions made on either side and on perusal of the records, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.66 of 2022 and file a final report before the concerned Court within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
