ORDER

The petitioner has lodged a complaint on 15.02.2025 and also filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent Police to take action based on her complaint dated 15.02.2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the complaint of the petitioner before the Superintendent of Police has been forwarded to the Kottar Police Station and the same was treated as current paper in C.No.P2/NIPS/Ngi/341/2024 and after the enquiry, the same was closed on 10.07.2025 as it is civil in nature.

4. There is no mode of enquiry as current paper enquiry. However, the enquiry appears to have been conducted as current paper enquiry without even registering the complaint in any register.

5. The respondent Police claims that since the petitioner's complaint is civil in nature, they have closed the same on 10.07.2025. Therefore, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the respondent Police to furnish a copy of the closure report to the petitioner to workout her remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
