DECREE:- This Civil Revision Petition coming on for hearing on this day, upon perusing the grounds of Appeal, the judgment and decree of the Lower Appellate Court and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. V.R. Shanmuganathan, Special Government Pleader for the Petitioner and of Mr. G. Aravinthan, Advocate for respondent 1 to 3, this court while allowing this Civil Revision Petition, doth order and decree as follows:-

1) that the compensation awarded be and hereby is reduced from Rs.1700/- per sq.ft. to Rs.1,221/- per (*)Cent.

2) that the claimants will be entitled to all other statutory benefits in terms of solatium and interest as per the provisions of the Act.
