Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to compute and pay the petitioners entire eligible terminal benefits payable to him including provident Fund, Gratuity, Commuted value of Pension and Terminal Leave Salary together with interest at the rate of 18% per annum from the date of his retirement to till the date of payment. The present Contempt Petition is filed for non-compliance of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.8684 of 2019, dated 11.04.2019.

CONT.P.(MD)No.1276 of 2019 2.The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that by the proceedings dated 24.09.2019, the respondents have issued 12 cheques from 19.07.2019 to 10.04.2020 for payment of terminal benefits in instalments and produced a letter addressed to the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondents have not given interest for commutation. 3.Recording the abovesaid submission, this Contempt Petition stands closed. However, it is open to the petitioner to make a representation to the respondents, seeking interest for commutation.
