ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant patta to the petitioner in respect of the property purchased by him under sale deed dated 28.05.2025 registered as Document No.5171/2025 on the file of the Sub Registrar, Thiruverumbur.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.R.Mohamed Riyaz, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, he purchased Plot Nos.86, 87 and 88 in Survey Nos.187/4 and 187/3B in Kumbakkudi Velayuthankudi Village, Thiruverumbur Taluk, Trichy District. He submitted an application for issuance of patta based on the sale deed in application No. 2025/0105/15/404682. The same has not been considered. Hence, the 2/4

petitioner has come before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the patta transfer application submitted by the petitioner in application No. 2025/0105/15/404682 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
