Prayer in this Writ Petition is to direct the first respondent to expedite the proceedings in SHRC.No.9897/2017, dated 27.05.2017 pending on the file of the first respondent and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the appeal filed by the petitioner under Section 12(1)(i) of the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993, is still pending consideration.

3.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, after affording sufficient opportunity of hearing 2/4

to all the parties concerned, if not already disposed of, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
