ORDER

The petitioner's son has applied for B.E.Mechanical Engineering for the Academic Year 2023-2024 under NRI quota, by obtaining a consent from one of his relatives, who is residing abroad.

2. The petitioner's son is expected to submit the required documents as stated in the Annexure III of the Prospectus. Now, the petitioner has approached this Court stating that for want of a legal guardian certificate, as per the provisions of Guardian and Wards Act 1890, his son's application has not been considered.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Anna University seeks for a short accommodation to get instructions.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner insisted for an early order stating that the admission under NRI quota is going to be completed today.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the admission under NRI quota is going to be completed today, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner's son, if he is eligible for NRI quota.
