The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct independent enquiry; withdrawing autonomy granted; stop illegal collection of fee; to refund the fee to students collected in excess from them; and to protect the poor students from exploitation, by considering his representation dated 20.04.2020, within a time frame.

2. Heard Mr.A.John Vincent, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 1 to 4; Mr.R.Ragatheesh Kumar, learned counsel for the fifth respondent and Mr.N.Dilip Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the seventh respondent.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, he would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents 1 to 3, to consider and dispose of his representation dated 20.04.2020, in accordance with law, within a time frame.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer now sought for by the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 1 to 3, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.04.2020, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
