ORDER

The Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of petition in D.V.C.No.23 of 2018 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, within a specified time to be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petition in D.V.C.No.23 of 2018, is pending more than 5 years at the stage of enquiry and there is no progress. Hence, the above said case has to be expedited.

3. Since the Civil Revision Petition is filed for early disposal of the case, issuance of notice to the respondents is not necessary.

4. From perusal of 'B' diary, Cr.M.P.No.681 of 2022, is pending from March 2022, at the stage of enquiry. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the pendency of the petition in Cr.M.P. No.681 of 2022 for quiet long time, this Court deems it appropriate to give some directions to the Court below.

5. In the result, the Civil Revision Petition is allowed, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, is directed to dispose of the proceedings in D.V.C.No.23 of 2018, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of nine (09) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs.
