O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for her willful, deliberate, disobedience of the order passed by this Court, in Crl.OP. (MD)No.22157 of 2024 dated 16.12.2024.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that this Court vide order dated 16.12.2024, closed Crl.OP.(MD)No.22157 of 2024 based on the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that Investigation in Crime No.8 of 2020 has been completed and charge sheet has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Virudhunagar, on 05.01.2024. Hence, the petitioner filed copy application before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Virudhunagar, for getting certified copy of the Charge Sheet in Crime No.8 of 2020. The same was returned with an endorsement "Charge Sheet E-filed by Police". Since the original charge sheet has not yet been filed before the Court, the same was returned with the above said endorsement. Hence, this petition has been filed.

3. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that Charge Sheet was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Virudhunagar, and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.356 of 2025.
