This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for quashing the FIR in Crime No.5 of 2014 registered on the file of the first respondent.

2. The defacto complainant/Sikkandar is present in person before this Court. He has been duly identified by Mr.A.Sheik Nasurudeen (Enrolment No.4129 of 2018). The defacto complainant categorically states before this Court that the first accused/Ahmed Meera is no more and that the issue has been amicably resolved before the local jamath. The defacto complainant does not want to pursue the complaint. The parties have also filed a memo of joint compromise dated 04.10.2021. Crl.O.P(MD)No.18414 of 2021 impugned prosecution alive. The impugned FIR is quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
