2. Heard Mr.Niranjan S.Kumar, learned Counsel for the petitioner. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the respondent, notice to the respondent is dispensed with. 3.The petitioner herein filed a divorce petition in H.M.O.P.No. 1315 of 2023 against the respondent on the ground of cruelty. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said petition was filed by the petitioner/wife and the matter was referred to the mediation. Since the mediation has not been processed and the mediation report has not been obtained, the trial Court has not fixed any hearing date. He further submits that the petition has been pending for the past two years without any progress.
The non-filing of mediation report does not bar the trial Court from proceeding with the matter, since the mediation itself has not occurred between the parties. Hence, he seeks expeditious disposal of the petition. 4.Considering the limited request of the petitioner, this Court directs the trial Court to dispose of the petition in H.M.O.P.No.1315 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible based upon the seniority of the cases.
5.With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
