ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the respondent police not to harass 1/4

the petitioner in the name of enquiry on petitioner's representation dated 08.08.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that Non-Bailable Warrant is pending against the petitioner's son from 2019 and that they went to the petitioner's house for searching the petitioner's son and they have not harassed the petitioner.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's son left the house 10 years back and she has no connection whatever with the petitioner.

4. It is not the case of the respondent that they have materials to show that the petitioner has any connection with her son recently. In the absence of any materials, the respondent is hereby directed not to harass the petitioner. In case of getting particulars of the whereabouts of her son, the petitioner is duty bound to disclose the same to the police. 2/4

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
