PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No. 383 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police.
ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1, who was arrested on 02.09.2021 for the offence under Section 379 IPC, in Crime No.383 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seek bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that while the defacto complainant taking treatment at Government Hospital, the petitioner/accused took the defacto complainant's cell phone and ran away from the place of occurrence. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. The petitioner is in jail from 02.09.2021 and hence, he seeks for grant of bail. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner snatched away the cell phone of the defacto complainant, who was taking treatment in the hospital and he was arrested by the public. He would further submit that apart from this case, the petitioner has involved in eight other cases, which are similar in nature.

CRL OP(MD). No.16219 of 2021 5.Considering the manner in which the occurrence had taken place and the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
6.However, this Court directs the trial Court to expedite the trial and dispose of the case, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
