ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 of BNSS., seeking orders, to direct the second respondent to accord police protection to the petitioner's life and limb forthwith to carry on his business in the light of the petitioner's representation, dated 03.08.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the representation given by the petitioner is pending before the second respondent.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent police is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 03.08.2024 and pass orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
