PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide necessary protection to the petitioner from the hands of the respondent no.4, 5 on the basis of 1/4

O R D E R

Apprehending danger at the hands of the respondents 4 and 5, the petitioner has approached this Court, seeking police protection.

2.Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 and submits that the complaint of this petitioner, dated 10.07.2025 was enquired by the respondent police in C.No.41/B1/Fort PS/TRC/2025 and the same was closed as the issue is civil in nature among the family members and the petitioner was intimated by the respondent police that for such kind of civil dispute, police protection cannot be granted.

3.Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this writ petition is closed, with a direction to the respondent police to furnish a copy of the closure report to this petitioner, enabling her to work out her remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
