Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent to complete the investigation and to file final report in Crime No.51 of 2013, for the offence punishable under Sections 167 and 425 IPC, pending on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the official respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.51 of 2013 and file Final report within the stipulated period.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 15.02.2013, the defacto complainant filed a complaint alleging that the first accused along with other accused fabricated patta for the purpose of grabbing property in Patta No.1262. The grievance of the petitioner is that after registration of the First Information Report, there is no progress in the case.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit so far eight witnesses have been examined.

4.Considering the oldness of the case, there shall be direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file final report before the concerned Court, within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing the final report, compliance report must be submitted before this Court.
