By relying on judgment and decree in O.S.No.682 of 1982 on the file of the Additional District Munsif Court, Padmanabhapuram, the petitioner's husband had applied for issuance of patta in respect of land in O.S.No.8448A of the extent of 7 cents. The present writ petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader submits the matter is pending consideration by the District Collector. He submits that the District Collector would pass orders on merits within four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. In these circumstances, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's request for patta on merits within four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.
